Project objective
The project addressed the bottleneck at Shepherd Bridge, Footscray, while improving traffic flow and freight access to the Port of Melbourne.
RCI Infrastructure involvement
Remove existing sewer manhole lids and raise them to new construction levels. Confined space entry required. Rectification works to City West Water and Melbourne Water requirements. Sewer works were on a critical path to enable road construction to continue.
Project completion
Sewer manhole rectification works delivered on time and on budget.
